The Dr X Kit X-treme 2002/03 Yamaha R1 DIY requires the installer to perform the plastic surgery on their OEM taillight by cutting it open (Dremel tool recommended), replacing the internal board with the Dr X Kit X-treme 2002/03 R1 board and resealing the taillight.

The Dr X Kit X-treme 2002/03 R1 DIY comes complete with industry leading step-by-step color installation instructions (see manual), Dremel cutting blades, custom VFX Plastic Adhesive (VPAD-010) for resealing the taillight and miscellaneous hardware (various tie-wraps, rubber bands, heatshrink, etc). The only thing we haven't included in the kit is the little robot to do the surgery for you!
