FAQ

Q1 Why not just use resistors?

A1 Some of the disadvantages of resistors are:

1. Can heat up to wire and fairing burning temperatures

2. Burn out quickly depending on how well heat is dissipated (not reliable)

3. Separate resistors may be required to correct for fast flash for each signal corner

4. Adds extra weight to the bike

One Flash Equalizer PRO kit is all you need to to correct the flash rate for the entire bike.  The sleek heatsink design saves weight and is based on a solid state electronics that will outlast the bike.  The clever electronics will automatically adjust to avoid overheating!

Q2 Why not change the OEM flasher relay with an aftermarket relay?

A2 On many bikes the OEM Flasher Relay is combined with other electronics making it inaccessible for replacement with aftermarket relays. The Flash Equalizer PRO is an ideal solution as it is fully reversible, does not require removal of the OEM flasher relay and does not alter the DOT flash rate of the OEM flasher relay.

Q3 Will the Flash Equalizer PRO work on my bike?

A3 The Flash Equalizer PRO will work on all bikes and cars with load sensitive relays.

Q4 How can I determine the signal wire color codes for my bike?

A4 In the support section we have a list of the wire color codes for certain models. If you do not find your model, you can purchase an automotive electric light tester and probe the wires for identification.
