Installation Instructions

PIVOT KIT ZX INSTALLATION

1. Remove tail fairings & unscrew OEM Fender Assembly (refer to Dr X Kit ZX PDF installation manuals for detailed images of rear fairing removal)

2. Unplug OEM plate light connector;

3. Feed Pivot Kit ZX wires through undertail & fasten with hardware 'J' & 'K', use wire tap connectors for electrical connection (match wire colors)

4. Mount Plate with ‘F’ & ‘G’; Adjust where desired;

5. Program according to PIVOT KIT ZX RIP Manual (VFX Doc. PKZX-203-RIP;

6. Hex Key provided (5/32”) for quick preload adjustability of pivot mounts ‘C’. If ON-THE-FLY control is not desired, apply full preload.

PIVOT KIT ZX – TURN SIGNAL BRACKET INSTALLATION

Turn Signal Brackets are a great way to add sleek short stalks to your PIVOT KIT ZX. The brackets are modular in design and simply replace the standard brackets on the kit. Most aftermarket short stalks are fully compatible with the brackets (Max Stud Diameter 0.394” or 10 mm). Check out our selection of turn signal short stalks – fully compatible with all PIVOT KITs.
 

7. Unscrew Standard Plate Brackets (both sides);

8. Assemble support rod onto turn signal brackets using screws ‘N’; mount turn signal brackets assembly onto PIVOT KIT ZX with original hardware (maintain hardware order);

9. Feed turn signal wires through center hole provided (drilling into fairing required)

10. Remount plate;

11. Mount Turn Signals onto bracket;

12. Tighten all screws to lock into position
